Day in DC

We are taking the day off from playing LAX and taking in some American culture in Washington DC. Our first stop is the White House. What a great opportunity for a photo! Following pictures of both sides of the White House we boarded the coach and went to the World War II and the Vietnam Memorial. The girls and the leaders enjoyed the reverenc e of both memorials and happened upon a tour guide at the Vietnam Memorial where we learned about the memorial, what it represented, and how the design was selected.

From there we walked to the Lincoln Memorial. Awe impressive by the shear stature of the monument. Of course throughout all of this sightseeing the girls singing has featured which has attracted a lot of admirers.

We are now in the Air and Space Museum at The Smithsonian. The free Wifi and a few moments has given me much needed catch up for our website.
