2011 ANNE ARUNDEL ‘CROSSOVER’ TOUR: 21st July – 4thth August.
Thank you new Parents for your confirmation that you and your daughter have agreed to host an American lacrosse player next July/August as part of the MetroGirls and Anne Arundel County exchange programme. These families join those already in the programme for their second and hosting year.
Thank you also for those of you who have already sent us the MetroGirls 2010/11 membership payment which contributes towards hire of venues for meeting and training, squad playing kit, referee fees, gifts for our American guests and general administration. Please could the remainder forward payment, with cheques made payable to MetroGirls Lacrosse, or alternatively an internet payment, contact Michelle for details.
MetroGirls who travelled to the USA in July 2010 will be able to host the USA girl they stayed with if you wish to do so, and she is touring with the AAC squad
Throughout the period of the tour there will be scheduled games and activities, and set out below is a tentative itinerary, but please do not yet make any fixed arrangements.

MetroGirls squad training will take place 10am-4pm on five or six Sundays between May to July arranged around half terms and Bank Holidays.
We will be encouraging parents to ‘car pool’ for both training and host tour activities.
Newsletters will continue throughout the period leading up to next July; also we are planning a parents meeting early in 2011. We also have a web site onto which the newsletters are posted, www.metrogirlslacrosse.org plus, all last summers tour reports and photographs are available.
