MetroGirls Tour Group

The Metro tour group will comprise of 24 players, accompanied by a minimum of six Tour leaders, confirmed to date as being, Michelle Malkin, Tony Malkin, Carina Baxter, Rob Eaton, Laura Callaghan & Martin Rees

As with previous tours, the players and leaders will be staying with the families of the Anne Arundel County Girl’s Youth lacrosse organisation, this being the American group who the Metro girls hosted for two weeks this past Summer (July 09) and previous years. Some girls will wish to stay with the girls they hosted last summer, and others will be with new American families.

Our two weeks in America will be a mixture of lacrosse games (of course) group sightseeing, cultural visits to places of interest and general activities with the host families. The tour occurs during the USA school summer vacation and therefore host families will be participating in holiday time activities, in particular at weekends which are likely to include swimming and more. The MetroGirls will be part of these activities as a family member. During the periods of time that the MetroGirls are with the Host Families the Anne Arundel and Metro leaders are fully contactable and available, if necessity requires.
