Our girls showed up ready to play mentally and physically. The game got underway and we soon were on the scoreboard with a goal by Georgie Owen. The girls seemed to loose their way a bit and the BAYS  answered with four goals. But not to be dishearted they kept their heads up and fought back. By half time we were leading 5-4 through the combinations of  Emma’s goalkeeping and the 3 M’s (Molly Maisy Millie) in defence; plus draw winning Alice and the attack of Emily, Lydia, Chloe and Louisa. In the second half the whole squad united to maintain a lead to finish 11 – 8 winners. The Coaches and leadership team were proud of the squad’s determination and support for each other achieving an opening tour win.
