Travel Day and Day One

  We had a fantastic travel day with no hiccups. The girls were fantastic, the fight and crew top notch and our welcome to Annapolis was heart felt and amazing.
Day 1 in Annapolis consisted of much cooler weather than the day we arrived. What a blessing because we arrived to heat and humidity. We met at 11:45 for a light 45 minute training and a lot of chatter and sharing of stories about host families, first evening activities, and new experiences already.
From the training we had a formal welcome from at our Director Coach Steve Willett and the gift exchange between host and hosted girls. We promptly left to shop and pizza in a LAX World where the girls were offered a 15% discount on purchased items. From what I could tell everyone took advantage of the generous offer.
This evening is our first game at Annapolis High School against BAYS with a reception to follow.
