This being my first attempt to post on the official MetroGirls site for the 2014 Tour. Having had our last training and Alumni Game Sunday, July 13 we are really setting our sights on our travel day and tour.
The Alumni Game was great fun and the Metro team showed what they are made of by winning their match against ‘the oldies’ 10-9. A big thank you to the Alumni that came from far and near to play and support this years programme. It was wonderful to see each and everyone of you. Also thank you to Megan, the Brooklands LDO for stepping in as our goalie. Much appreciated.
